Big Brother 9 - Matt Campaigns

If you can call it that.

The truth is, Allison has decided it would be better for her if Matt and Natalie stay, than Alex and Amanda. Having made that decision, she easily convinces her partner, Ryan, that their chances of survival longer in the game is with the more "pliable" Matt. Matt is ready to offer anyone, anything to stay in the game. He hasn't been overly persuasive, but he's worked hard at it, all day.

Allison can definately be persuasive with the more "pliable" houseguests, but she wasn't able to do so, without alerting both James / Chelsia and Joshuah / Sharon to her behavior.

With 24+ hours remaining, the question becomes, can Allison hold onto Ryan, Sheila and Adam's votes, working against the more subtle game play of Amanda / Joshuah / Sharon? My money and my hopes are on the latter. While Big Brother IS a numbers game, the key to the numbers game is keeping all your numbers together for the long haul. The other problem Allison has, is aligning herself with the weakest pairs makes her an easy target should her "numbers" not win competitions.

To win Big Brother, (and to please yours truly), you need an alliance of more than one persuasive game player and a bunch of followers. You need to keep other targets in the house, so as to keep the target off yourself. Removing Alex / Amanda from the game puts the target squarely on Allison's back.

I am not sure why Allison has decided to make this move now, but I'm thinkng it is NOT a good decision on her part. What do you think?
